Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and raised in Detroit, Seth Troxler came to the world after learning to DJ from his stepfather. Seth comes from a family of cowboys and Baptist preachers, partly African-American, and has developed a unique approach to seeing the world.

This biography sheds some light on the artist's past, a path that has taken him to the most important hubs of Techno and House, such as Detroit, Ibiza and Berlin. Currently the number 1 representative of Circoloco around the world, he has made his mark in all of our appearances in 2020, 2023 and 2024 editions. More than just a co-host, Seth has become a personal friend with whom we spend the whole year discussing how to make the next edition of CarnaRARA better than the last. A man on a mission!

TO CARNARARA

In the studio, he’s collaborated with dance music stalwarts like Matthew Dear, Art Department and Tiefschwarz, and his groundbreaking remixes have been released on Visionquest, a label and project he co-founded with Shaun Reeves, Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss. In 2014, he teamed up with the duo The Martinez Brothers to launch the Tuskegee label, attracting the attention of Afro-Latin American icons. He’s also been developing two new labels, Soft Touch, which focuses on indie rock, and Play It Say It, which focuses more on dance-based jams. Troxler is currently holed up in Ibiza, where he began his forced exile from the US after sleeping with Senator Barak Obama’s then-wife. Seth will remain in Europe until his 33rd birthday, at which point he’ll migrate to the Levant and fight his way West as he stakes his claim. Or so one guy at Burning Man told us.
